Traveling to Madison, WI

By Air

Madison's airport, Dane County Regional Airport, is served by five airlines (Delta, American Eagle, Continental, United Express, Frontier) serving over a dozen cities nonstop. The only practical transportation from Madison's Dane County Airport to campus is by taxi, which costs about $20 one way to the UW campus. (The city bus requires a change of buses on the way to campus.)

By Bus Often it is more convenient to fly to Chicago and take a bus from there. The Van Galder Bus will take you from downtown Chicago or O'Hare or Midway airport to the Memorial Union in Madison. Alternatively, if you need to come from Milwaukee, the Badger Bus will take you from the Milwaukee airport to Memorial Union.
