The Math Department continues to actively contribute to teacher education in mathematics on our campus. In addition to the regular three math courses for future elementary school teachers, we also offer courses toward a math/science minor, which is especially useful to help aspiring middle school teachers prepare to teach math and science. This minor has recently seen an increase from a handful of students each year to over a dozen.
